The January workshop filled up so fast that, by request, a second all day Brad Price Painting Workshop is being offered on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Price will teach his color-expressionist method of painting. Students will be given the opportunity to paint two paintings following Price’s step by step instruction. The workshop will begin at 9 am and run through 6 pm with a break for lunch. There is limited space in this much requested workshop, so it is advised that prospective students enroll early.
Students should have a basic knowledge of painting in order to enjoy this workshop. Oil or acrylics may be used. Students should bring their own painting materials. Two 11 x 14 canvases will be provided. The Depot has table easels, or students may bring their own.
Price exhibits his works on Canyon Road in Santa Fe, NM, at the Meyer Gallery. He is also represented by galleries in Madrid, Taos and Pagosa Springs. The past two years he has been selected by the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum for “Small Works, Great Wonders.” This year Price was chosen to participate in National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society “Best of America” show. His Work has been on the cover of Santa Fe Circle Magazine and the Santa Fe Visitors Guide and he has appeared in articles in Southwest Art Magazine.
