Derek Paul and The Handsome Devils will open the 2015 Summer Breeze Series with a concert Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 7:30 pm in Lions Park. Bring seating and your favorite refreshments, and enjoy a casual musical evening in Lions Park located at the corner of Flood and Symmes. It is all free!
The Handsome Devils blend a love of folk, rock, blues, R&B and jazz into a wholly Americana sound. Whether it’s their rootsy southern rock hooks to their laid back blues grooves to their heartfelt storytelling, their many fans throughout the region love their honest, catchy tunes and fun live shows.
Beginning as a trio, Derek Paul (guitar, lead vocals), Derek Carothers (bass), and Devon Carothers (drums) released their debut album, The Show, in the spring of 2012. Zane Russell (guitar, vocals) joined the group soon after that to further expand the sound, and the group released the EP Live at The Deli 1-9-13 in 2013. Tyler Smith (guitar) has since replaced Zane Russell in the group.
