The Norman Downtowners Association and The Performing Arts Studio bring Lunchtime Concerts to the Depot again this summer, beginning with The Franklin Twins on Friday, June 12.  The music begins at noon on the lawn north of the Depot.  (It will be moved inside should there be rain.)

A light lunch will be served beginning at 11:45.

The Franklin Twins, made up of Frank Barry on vocals and acoustic guitar and Jon Seratte on vocals and keyboard, are joined by Marvin Hudson on bass to play folk music, some country, and more modern songs with one thing in common...great harmonies!

Barry says “I grew up loving to harmonize. So I asked my good friend Jon Seratte to join with me and sing. Now we get to sing beautiful songs and fun ones that have great harmonies in them. We have been together as a duo for less than a year but have known each other for over 20.”

Although together only a short time, The Franklin Twins are already regulars at The Grape Ranch concert series just outside Okemah.  They are influenced by Seals & Crofts, Bread, John Denver, Kenny Loggins, Simon & Garfunkel, and many others.

Frank Barry has been performing music for years and has played at Lunchtime Concerts with his Full Circle Band in the past.

Lunchtime Concerts are sponsored by the Norman Downtowners Association as a gift to the community.  The Association represents the businesses in downtown Norman who invite you to stroll around downtown before or after the concert to discover all the unique and delightful shops, galleries, specialty food stores, restaurants, antiques and collectables shops, and much more, located in the Downtown Arts District.
