Maria VeresMaria Veres is the featured reader at the October 14, 2018, Second Sunday Poetry Reading in The Depot, 200 S. Jones. The free reading begins at 2:00 pm. All are welcome!

Maria Polson Veres is the author of three poetry books and several nonfiction e-books. Her most recent poetry collection, Church People, was an Oklahoma Book Award finalist. An accomplished writer, her poetry, fiction and nonfiction have appeared in a wide variety of publications.

Veres teaches adult creative writing classes at Francis Tuttle Technology Center and is a former officer of Oklahoma Writers' Federation, Inc. Originally from Colorado, she has lived in the OKC area for almost twenty years.
