The Depot hosts Terri Lynn Cummings on May 21, 2017 for a Second Sunday Poetry Reading (although it is on the third Sunday this month!) The free reading begins at 2:00 pm at 200 South Jones. All are welcome.
Village Books Press published Terri Lynn Cummings’ first poetry book, Tales to the Wind, in the spring of 2016. Her second book, An Element Apart, is expected to be released Fall 2017.
Terri is a frequent contributor to Songs of Eretz Poetry Review. Her poetry appears in Red River Review, Dragon Poet Review, Illya’s Honey, Oklahoma Humanities Magazine online, Contemporary Rural Social Work, Melancholy Hyperbole, Eclectica, and elsewhere, in addition to anthologies: Blood and Thunder, Absolute, and soon, Oklahoma Poets/Malpais Review.
A Woody Guthrie Poet, Terri hosts Oklahoma Voices: First Sunday Poetry readings/open mic at Individual Artists of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, and presents her work at symposia and workshops.
She has studied at Creative Writing Institute and holds a B.S. Sociology/Anthropology from Oklahoma State University. Terri continues to explore cultural humanity while she and her husband travel the world.
