Second Sunday Poetry will feature Stephanie Jordan reading from her work on March 11 at 2:00 pm in the Norman Depot, 200 S. Jones Avenue.
Stephanie Jordan’s poetry is often a response to the world around her. As a sustainable farmer, she explores the conflicts inherent with our relationships to the things we need and the choices we make, as well as the invisible struggles of the farmers who grow our food. She will be reading from the collection she is currently working on, Waiting for Rain: Stories of Love, Loss and Agriculture.
Enjoy refreshments and the paintings of Sue Messerly in the Depot Gallery while attending the free poetry reading.
