Brad Price is a romantic, a backpacker, an impressionist, and a lover of high places. Through painting he makes an emotional visit to the scene he is painting. His style emphasizes contrast and bold complementary color. He is represented by Meyer Gallery in Santa Fe and by other galleries throughout the southwest. Brad attributes much of his development as a painter to his admiration and study of New Mexico’s early masters. The brush strokes are bold and directional in nature. They set up a rhythmic movement that directs the eye, guiding the viewer through the composition. His paintings are a total experience placed on canvas. According to Price, art is experience and the sharing of experience. It is creating something new and beautiful for the world, and then sharing that moment with others. Come share in this delightful evening with Brad and let him help you “uncork your inner artist” to create your something new and beautiful, and help light up the art in the Depot Gallery while doing so.
