The beautifully realistic paintings of long time Norman artist Mitsuno Reedy will continue to be featured in The Depot Gallery through June 30, 2016. A second reception for Reedy's “Dances With Brushes” exhibit will held on June 10 from 6 to 9 pm as a part of 2nd Friday Art Walk.
Mitsuno Ishii Reedy began her career in mid-1970's painting portraits, still lifes, and landscapes for collectors throughout the United States. Previously known for her pastels, she is now primarily painting in oils.
Also in conjunction with the Art Walk, resident jazz trombonist and bandleader Zac Lee will lead the 2016 Jazz In June jazz jam on Friday, June 10th from 6-9:30 p.m at The Depot. Aspiring and professional jazz musicians are invited to bring instruments and participate in this free, public event.
Depot Gallery hours are 9 am to 2 pm Monday through Friday and by appointment. There is no admission charge.
Gallery Exhibitions are made possible in part by grants from the Norman Arts Council and the Oklahoma Arts Council and by generous individual donors.
