Important Announcement

The Depot Gallery and office will be closed until at least the end of May, 2020. We will reassess at that time. Phone messages will be checked regularly and calls returned. We do this out of an abundance of caution and concern for the health of our community.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The Depot Programs

Summer Breeze Concert Series

The Summer Breeze Concert Series has become a Norman tradition, featuring national and local musicians performing in Norman's Lions and Andrews Parks. These May through September, Sunday evening concerts are casual family-friendly events.  Bring a blanket and picnic basket and enjoy these free concerts!

Winter Wind Concert Series

The Winter Wind Concert Series features the finest singer/songwriters from across the nation performing in a listening room environment where you can really connect with the artists. Join us at The Depot on select Sunday evenings, October through March, and enjoy some great music, friendly people, and complimentary refreshments.

Second Sunday Poetry Readings

The Second Sunday Poetry Readings program provides a monthly venue for selected regional poets to share their work.  Former Oklahoma Poet Laureate and Oklahoma Book Award winner Carl Sennhenn hosts.

Jazz in the Depot

Accomplished regional trios and quartets fill the depot gallery space with the sounds of smooth jazz.

The works of outstanding Norman and regional artists are exhibited in The Depot throughout the year with bimonthly artist receptions.  The Depot is a member of the Norman Gallery Association and participates in the Second Friday Circuit of Art and other arts events.  The gallery is free and open to the public.

Workshops and Seminars

The Performing Arts Studio occasionally hosts workshops and seminars as part of our educational mission.  Speech and acting, and memoir writing are examples of the types of workshops offered.

Special Events

The Depot is active in the Norman community and frequently hosts special events in conjunction with local happenings like the Second Friday Circuit of Art, fundraisers, and city events.
