For those wanting to get their creative juices flowing, the Performing Arts Studio is presenting a Corkscrews and Canvas Painting Party, Thursday, April 19, 6 pm – 9 pm, at the Norman Depot, 200 S. Jones. Participants will  create their own work of art.

Acclaimed artist Rick Fry will lead the group in painting a landscape, and at the end of the evening each attendee will have their own masterpiece, whether or not they’ve ever painted before.  Registration fee is $45.

Art supplies and complimentary appetizers will be provided, and a cash wine bar will be available from Native Spirits Winery.

Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Performing Arts Studio’s ongoing operations as well as its sponsored programs: Summer Breeze and Winter Wind Concerts, Sunday Jazz Concerts, Second Sunday Poetry Readings, and Gallery Exhibitions in the Depot Gallery.
