Performing Arts StudioThe Performing Arts Studio, the Norman nonprofit organization which produces the Summer Breeze concert series, the Winter Wind concert series at the Depot, Jazz concert series at the Depot, Second Sunday Poetry at the Depot, and gallery shows at the Depot, is seeking an Executive Director. The successful candidate must have enthusiasm for the arts and for promoting the arts in Norman; must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing; must have marketing, public relations, and social media skills; and must understand financial and accounting practices, and accounting programs such as QuickBooks. Primary job functions are to secure and administer grant funding, initiate and coordinate fundraising efforts, develop marketing and public relations strategies, coordinate marketing and publicity for PAS programs and events, and perform the day to day financial and administrative functions of the organization. Work schedule is 20-30 hours/week, and includes Friday and Sunday evening events, attendance at Norman Arts Council roundtable monthly meetings and other arts organization meetings. Salary is $20,000/yr. Associates degree or equivalent experience is required; experience in grant writing and grant funding process is preferred.
