The nonprofit organization was founded in December 2003. Norman’s Santa Fe Train Depot, 200 South Jones Ave., serves as the PAS home.
The Performing Arts Studio, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, produces Summer Breeze Concerts, Winter Wind Concerts, Jazz Concerts, Gallery Exhibitions in the Depot, and Second Sunday Poetry Readings. The organization also manages rental of the depot for weddings, meetings, parties and other events and serves as the venue for several art and writing classes for adults.
PAS programs are funded in part by grants from Norman Arts Council, Oklahoma Arts Council and The National Endowment for the Arts, generous donations from individual and corporate donors, memberships and depot rental income.
